For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.

Phil 2:3-4 explains why we're called Community Flicks

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit.

Rather, in humility, value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.

Your Church or Organization was provided a link to this exclusive invitation to become a part of an exciting journey. It’s a journey your members, staff, and supporters can enjoy as a unique and rewarding experience. It will also serve as a valuable source of exposure, support, and public relations.

Community Flicks has been given the honor and opportunity to join

an amazing new feature film project. The production team includes Emmy award winner Joanne Hock as co-director and cinematographer, GMA Dove Award Nominee Brian Baugh as executive producer, and award-winning screenwriter MoriEl Randolph as writer, co-director, and film producer (also the founder of Community Flicks).

As the project’s fiscal sponsor and Community Outreach Liaison, Community Flicks presents your congregation or organization with an opportunity to become a Community Partner of the feature film Stroke of Genius. However, since we wish to ensure that all who register to become Partners can reap all its benefits, the time to take advantage of this invitation is limited.

Our organization has been asked to use great discretion in selecting potential partners because the film is a Christ-centered project. However, there is no restriction on how many invitations we extend. Still, the project must discontinue registration once we’ve reached certain limits. The limit on registrations and volunteer opportunities will be determined by the total number of individuals registering from each verified Community Partner. Potential partners within the DMV will be given priority.

Community Flicks has already witnessed the excitement, fun, and satisfaction communities experience from participating in small local film projects. Our premiere of the short film IMPRESSIONS packed the house at one of Alexandria, Virginia’s Old Town Regal Theater auditoriums.

The benefit of presenting the community you serve with the rare opportunity to be a part of an industry-standard feature film with directors, producers, and actors whose works they've enjoyed is extraordinary.

In addition to the popularity and support benefit one can achieve, benefit two could also be an incredible blessing to your Church or Organization.

As part of the film’s prospectus to investors, the film’s production company, FreshView Productions, has agreed to distribute a portion of the film's proceeds to our community partners. They’re calling it the SOG (short for Stroke of Genius) Community Partners’ Fund (SCP Fund). The donation distributed to the fund will be 10% of the net profits received by the film’s producer.

It will be distributed based on each partner's involvement.

So by becoming a Community Partner, you reap two exciting benefits.

If your Church leader(s) or the head(s) of your Christ-centered Nonprofit Organization would like to arrange a call or meeting to discuss becoming a SOG Community Partner, please call Community Flicks at (240) 302-0700. Let the representative you speak with know that you are interested in the SOG Partnership, or use our online calendar (see link below) to schedule a date and time that’s convenient for you.

Please take the time to learn more about Stroke of Genius by clicking the “More Info…” button.

Community Partners are Christ-centered Church Assemblies and Nonprofit Organizations that work together with Community Flicks to inform their members, supporters, and those they have the honor of serving about the opportunity to be a part of the production of Stroke of Genius and its influence. They are the project's link to the faith-base community.

Partners are verified by registering online at Community Flick's registration website. Those influenced by partners must also register on the site but cannot do so without providing the name of the Community Partner who led them to become involved with the project.

Schedule a meeting to learn more.
